I'll take bets against both of these.
I doubt Fred is jumping at the gun to hit the recruiting trail again to convince 16 year olds to play for him.

its a lot easier at a blue blood though. Duke. That's my pick. Although, he'll have to stop sucking.

I wonder what would people think of Hoiberg if he did end up coaching a college team other than ISU. I don't have much of an issue with him going to Bulls, but would definitely think less of him if he went to some other college team.

What did you think of him testing the waters with the Minnesota Golden Gophers? I like to hope that was part of him getting more from Pollard, but who knows?

iowa state fans will just call it his dream and the act like he's a saint for saying nice things about his former school.

I get the sense that Fred was just as relieved as his players to reconnect. I think it meant the world to all of them. I also think they got some great words and motivation to bring the whole damn thing home to Ames. Love it.

Hard to decide cause I can only speculate on his intentions with Gophers, but if he actually didn't just test the waters but actually started coaching another college team, then as I said I would think quite a bit less of him.

What's your thoughts? Would you think less of him?

I really hope the team plays well and focused. It's been almost a year since they've seen Fred and all that goes with the emotions of that...Seems Fred is getting more play than Prohm nationally with Isu right now and I hope that changes...Prohm got this team to this point.

I don't see Fred ever coaching in college ever again. He completely hates recruiting..Hates. He will go be a front office VP before he ever thinks about coaching college again. He left the absolute perfect college job he could ever have...ever.

i doubt that people would be cool with it. I know your feelings on it, but what about anyone else? Anyone else care to comment?
