Hard to decide cause I can only speculate on his intentions with Gophers, but if he actually didn't just test the waters but actually started coaching another college team, then as I said I would think quite a bit less of him.

What's your thoughts? Would you think less of him?

I think it would bug me but whom am I to judge? The whole heart situation is something I haven't had to deal with, I'm sure he has a lot of things to factor in.

I don't see Fred ever coaching in college ever again. He completely hates recruiting..Hates. He will go be a front office VP before he ever thinks about coaching college again. He left the absolute perfect college job he could ever have...ever.
I agree, but my question was what would you think of Hoiberg if in fact he did coach another college team?

This is CyFan... Judging is what we do the best here. Heart situation would be the same regardless if he is coaching ISU or another team... So why would he ever then consider another team over ISU?

Less stress? He's a Cyclone fan too. Plus the job might not be open whenever Garpax decides to fire him.

I think that he is still coaching at ISU using Prohm as an automaton.

It was fun to hear Hoiberg talking to Walters about Iowa State basketball again.

Fred is very aware that his image has taken a hit, and obviously trying to make repairs.

Prohm got a good national "thumbs up" from Fred. I think he would be happy for that.

The "recruiting game" changes greatly if we make it to a final four. Players will come to us instead of having to chase a bunch of juco transfers to build a team.

I give Fred the big "thumbs up" for telling the team they better win because he already bought his ticket for Sunday. :spinny:

Who is Candyman? You mean beetlejuice?

Linden's post had 1 error. Takes 5 times summons Candyman while it only takes 3 for Beetlejuice.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candyman_(film)

The legend claims that Candyman can be summoned by saying his name five times while facing a mirror, whereupon he will murder the summoner with a hook jammed in the bloody stump of his right arm.
