I haven't abandoned a show after multiple seasons in a while but get his points and agree. Bailed on Sons of Anarchy after it just got too stupid to watch anymore. If this wasn't a Sunday night winter thing I would likely be gone.

I've actually switched to watching Vinyl on HBO and eventually watching (fast forwarding through) TWD when extra time allows. Vinyl is quality, and seeing Olivia Wilde fully naked beats zombies any day. That said, I'd love to see TWD do anything to get interesting again. It's too easy to fast forward through most of it.

I think there is valid criticism over the last couple episodes. I am betting the finale is great though. Comic fans are watching with bated breath next week

that's part of the problem, I fear. These last two episodes were totally unnecessary and the only reason for them was because they needed to air something and for some dumb *** reason or another, they decided they couldn't possibly have Negan show up until the season finale.

Story wise, it would have made more sense to have an emotional fallout episode in the aftermath of the assault on the saviors compound, followed by the episode where Negan shows up and off's someone, and the season finale dealing with the aftermath and setting up the next season.

Instead we get two straight waste of time weeks leading up to an episode where everyone knows what's going to happen, even though we don't know exactly what will happen.

Last nights episode wasn't great but it was necessary. A lot hidden tips to what's coming up next week as well as into the next season.

I think they rushed the Carol story line, should have let it develop over half a season. The overall story still could have moved forward with Daryl attempting to track Dwight and the Saviors(my new band name).

This show is losing me. I get so frustrated how they have characters do stupid crap just to set up a comic book situationstore.

The comics are fun because they have the super hero edge that a comic can have and it just doesn't translate well to this "reality" style and massive character development focus.

I think Fear has way more potential because it isn't trapped by cannon.

The show is doing that because they went away from the comic. You don't know what you are talking about.

I don't understand why people complain about a show. Either watch it or don't, there is a reason why these armchair analysts aren't tv directors.

I agree with others who have been disappointed lately. This show has some great moments but it definitely has some writing issues and I think it tends to get a pass because so many people are fans of the zombie genre.

Excellent. Now that you are bored with policing opinions on the basketball and football forums you can come here and set us all straight.

Yesterday's episode was across the board dud. I understand where they are going with it, but it was sooooo lazy. Darryl has regressed from this badass tracker to a complete moron who apparently couldn't hear people walking thru woods behind him.

If these people have one more existential conversation out in the open one more time, I'm going to shoot them myself. For a show that prides itself on drama and surprise, how can they not know that the entire audience was just waiting for them to get ambushed, BECAUSE IT ALWAYS HAPPENS.
