Can we lay off of spoilers for other shows in this thread? Why is that necessary?

Agreed. For those of you that read the comic books, it would be really nice for the rest of us if you wouldn't speculate about future characters...or if you would at least use spoiler conceals.

Eh, we are quite a few episodes behind watching and I don't even care if I see a spoiler on TWD.

I suppose we will catch up some time over the summer when we aren't as busy and there isn't much on TV, but it seems to be losing steam and I have mostly lost interest.

My bad. Though what I said really didn't spoil anything. Besides, half this show isn't even in the comic and vice versa.

Starting to feel so as well. He stood tall against Negan. Was the only one.

My thoughts as well. Daryl being wounded wouldn't have been able to take Lucille "like a champ." Glenn was too emotionally distraught over Maggie so it leaves me to believe it had to be Abraham. He had[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] planned a future with Sasha (sort of). Usually the sentimental things on this show get squashed pretty quickly.

But, is he really a big enough character to go into a major cliffhanger over? What would really blow people away is if it was Michonne, or Maggie. That would probably shake some people.

If I'm behind, I don't come to this thread. It's the anticipation of future characters that the show has not yet reached that gets a bit annoying...

I'm not worried about spoilers of TWD in this thread (except for comic spoilers, but the show hasn't exactly followed those to a T), but rather with people talking about things that have happened in Game of Thrones. If you don't want TWD spoilers, don't open this thread, but I shouldn't have to worry about GoT being spoiled for me if I open the TWD thread.

Something I've been pondering...the "Richonne" thing. Negan guessed Carl was Rick's son, and mentioned Carl & Rick just before swinging. Was there any indication in the show that the Saviors (or Negan) knew that Michonne was more than a friend to Rick (& Carl)?

Came here to post about how much I hated the ending, glad everyone else agrees. In the age of the internet, the cliffhanger just doesn't work anymore.

IMO it would have been much more effective to have the viewer sit and stew for the next 6 months over seeing one of their favorite characters beaten to death if you actually show who it was. This was a total failure.

Based on some guesses and comments, they might be celebrating a death as well. ;)

I can't decide what to do with Game of Thrones as far as whether I should keep watching the show since it will be ahead of the books. I guess I will probably watch as they certainly haven't stayed completely true to the books, and I don't have a ton of faith in GRRM ever finishing the next book.

Thought it was a great episode up until the ending. I liked how they built it up slowly showing how outmanned they were. But there was no reason to leave that as a cliffhanger. It was cheap and really takes away from the moment.

The show really feels a little stalled like LOST did when they didn't know exactly how many seasons they had. So they had to drag things out and do things they normally wouldn't. Same for TWD. I think the writers (and us) would benefit by knowing how long the show will go on. Because when its indefinite, it is clear you won't get top quality storylines.

Smithing isn't a common trade. They got lucky?

The guys on horse back also had "Hilltop" spears. I'm guessing there was/is some sort of alliance deal there. Maybe they make the deal with the Saviors, Saviors took the guns and all they are left with are the blades/spears. They can't overthrow the Saviors who have guns. But now with that group connecting with Alexandria, Rick/Eugene now both have the plan to produce ammo (with Alexandria's guns) they somehow mount a revolution against the saviors.

I think it's him as well.

It falls in line with the "go soft then die" model they tend to follow. Abraham's conversation on the way out about wanting to have kids some day. Or how he feels like "now" he could implying that he has softened up to the idea. He was dealing with too much **** in prior years to even consider it.
