The U or not you take Miami everytime, no contest.

I disagree whole heartedly. Just because they have the history of being the U, doesn't mean they will be the U again now or in the near future. If you want to go there just because it's the city of Miami, I hate to break it to you, but the campus sucks and isn't in a great part of town.

I'm not saying he should have chosen Iowa State, but to say Miami is a hands down every time pick is a little ridiculous.

I will bet by the end of his career, the difference on the field between them and either in state school is minimal.

Off the field, though, is different.

You should preface this statement with the fact that you're a U fan.

But I'm with you. The football shenanigans overshadow the fact that it's an excellent school in a beautiful place crawling with top tier female talent. If it were my son he'd have my emphatic blessing.

New Miami Stadium is undergoing an impressive renovation and the Canes made a great move in hiring Mark Richt, IMO. Don't be surprised if they're dominating again soon.

Not sure about that. Combine Mark Richt and that recruiting base. They could get really good again.

Does the renovation include picking it up and moving it closer to campus?

He's always had talent. Do you think Miami is a better place to be than Georgia? I doubt it.

Remember when ISU had a 1st round draft pick in 1973? Neither does this kid. Or his dad, for that matter.

Your right I am a fan. In fact I wanted to walkon there instead of ISU but private school tuition was to high ($44,400 for 2015-2016).

But as others have said you put mark Richt back to his roots with the talent in the Miami area alone and I believe they will be back at elite level soon.
