Jones is also exploring his options on turning pro. Initially I thought that was going to be the outcome though he may have gotten additional feed back and decided another year of college would be the best move. Guess his final destination won't be decided for a while. Obviously would be a nice fit (as would Livingston or Davis) for a post addition to impact next season.

Turning pro in what?

Basketball.
“It has always been a goal of mine to play professional basketball so I plan to explore all of my opportunities,” said Jones. “I am going to work hard over the next month to position myself for the best available option, but I do not intend to sign with an agent. I would like to thank our entire coaching staff and administration for their support through this process.”

I'm guessing we are just casting a wide net since we can't afford to strike out

I think it speaks volumes that you're hearing Iowa St in on multiple immediately eligible bigs. Shows Prohm is intelligent and humble enough to know we have a position that needs improvement, and he's not afraid to go against top programs to fix it.

recruiting is like dating because everyone else is still looking for something better. at least in recruiting it's out in the open.

Thanks for the idea, I just created a new website:

TransferBasketballPlayersMeetCoaches.com

No I need to thing of an annoying jingle like farmersonly.com

Yeah he's not going to the NBA or the D league

You can play professionally in basketball and not be in the NBA or D League. He'll have to decide if he wants to play one more year of college basketball to try to get more exposure for a better overseas contract or if he'd rather just go start making money now

(set to Farmer's only) You don't have to be school-less, at TBPMC.com.

Is it a lot worse over there?

There is a current thread that they are just ripping him to shreds. Only had a job bc of Fred, only player he brought in was Royce, etc. Giving him zero credit for anything.

My commercial will be a clip of Fran yelling at a player and then a clip of Prohm hugging a player.

And you can have Fran at an empty Carver with an assistant and he says: "Where are all the P5 transfers at?"

But only Nicholas Baer appears.

I know there's all different talent levels and what not, and that Nash was a McDonalds All-American, but Jones actually makes me think of LeBryan Nash from Okie State watching his game. Maybe a poor man's version, who knows.

He looks pretty good. Can catch a bounce pass on the run so that's a plus. Appears to be aggressive. Also looks to have a decent jump shot. He only attempted 3 three pointers this year but I could see him be serviceable if left wide open.
