Was it the Hoiberg or Prohm staff that initiated his recruitment? Really hopeful it was Prohm and that he had a change of heart knowing he has a chance to roll into Ames and start from day 1 for a top 15 team.
Not sure on initiation but ISU was still after him Sept. 1, 2015:

He was a prohm recruit. Was planning to visit us for a football game and instead visited Georgia Tech the weekend he was supposed to come up because something else came up. Ended up committing to them shortly after.
If slimeball Pearl gets involved, I'd stay away from him. Usually anytime he gets involved its shady.
Nothing to go by whatsoever other than gut, but I'd think a "change of heart" would mean he's already got a pretty good idea of where he's regretting not signing with.
Loved his film. He was not only tall, he is also big, with a body already built for Big XII action, yet wasn't a sloth - had real athleticism. Top of my want list.
With the Malou news freeing up a scholarship Prohm should be making the call if he hasn't already. We know he has his number.

Getting him would be huge. Imagine there would be some stiff competition though
Correct. Usually the go to move is contact his former HS or prep coach, assuming they have a close relationship.
