Blame Boxster. He started it by leaving his Kindle in your homeland.
I personally am very fond of the Dutch. I was born in a hospital in Orange City.
See...I married into this terribly Dutch name. The "irony"(?) is that my husband is adopted.
Neither of our major blood lineage is Dutch.
I'm 1/4th Dutch. At least there's some Dutch in here. I think my ancestors may have left Holland because the country was becoming too religiously tolerant. They moved to the New World to find a place where they could be less tolerant. I believe they split when they got to Lake Michigan again because the intolerant weren't intolerant enough for the more intolerant. No wonder the Dutch Reformed Church has such a f'd up legacy in South Africa.See...I married into this terribly Dutch name. The "irony"(?) is that my husband is adopted.

Well....now I know V stands for Van or Vander
Gotta get preggo first.
Mission accomplished...for me, anyway. And with one granddaughter that's almost 22, and the next oldest ones at 15, 13, 13 and on down the line, great-grandmotherhood is a distinct possibility before I hit 70 years old.![]()
It's my sisters 62nd bday today. She has a classmate that became granny at 34-35, this lady probably already is a great grandma.
After flying over the USAF Academy graduation a USAF Thunderbird F-16 had engine issues and the pilot punched out and the plane crashed. Somehow it went in at very low angle of attack and seems to be visibly mostly intact. Never seen that before.
