Sure it's the first game with a lot of new pieces. But a ton of the momentum and enthusiasm Campbell and his staff built in the off season just died tonight. Very unimpressed with what I saw out of this team.

Don't know about that. They weren't NFL quality, but JL had plenty of time. Maybe we just saw a glimpse of why SR was always starting until PR's job was on the line.
i just switched from the cyclones.tv video feed to the radio broadcast. they were supposed to give a "john deere" run of the game and they couldn't even give out that award!! LOL.
Welcome to ISU Matt Campbell. Let's hope the boys are on the same page by game 4. This start is emblematic of a 2-3 win season again
DL wasn't bad. Our LBs were too slow. Spreen & Jahlas played more late & did better. Mental collapse most the game. Stupid penalties. Horrendous TOs. Questionable coaching decisions. Biggest hit of the night was 2 of our own colliding on offense. More like a perfect ****storm.
just a ton of stupid things happened tonight. Hopefully things will get better, but can't go through the season negative in the TOs. The really bad thing about the penalties is not only the yards to overcome, but most of them wiped out huge plays, and had nothing to with the plays.

Dude you are an idiot...and 2 years from now you are going to be the first poster on here apologizing..MC was left a team with very little talent outside maybe a dozen players total...MC can't throw 3 interceptions or have 2 fumbles..
I don't see a down side to benching Lanning. Start over with Park. It's a lost season now anyway.
offensive line was garbage. Should have thrown it more down field this game. They couldn't stop Lazard and Butler without PI (refs kinda sucked tonight on some of those calls but not why ISU lost at all).
Defense was ok but containing Bailey tonight was very hit and miss.
Disappointing way to start the Campbell era. Lucky for me I had no expectations this year so not as mad as a couple years ago.

Oddly, the turnovers will give this team and staff cover for this loss.....but anyone who watched knows we got mini-woodshedded and they were the better team and better prepared and better coached. Campbell already looks like Chizik did....that "WTF was I thinking" dazed look. Well suckersadd another member of the ex-coach club in Clearwater Beach in a few years......you suckers are paying for this crap. Mabye Mangino was right about Lanning.....that whole game was a bunch of crap largely on his shoulders. New Uniforms please......And when do we just get out of the Big12 for the sake of the instituion.....a few athletic admin folks are getting some of the Texas slush.....but what for? Why? Why endure this crap?
There is a lot to fix. Can't beat anyone if you can't run the ball. We don't need hashtags, white helmets, killer entrance music or videos. We need a damned offensive line and someone who can make plays from the qb position.

I wonder....Why bother bringing PArk in if you thought LAnning was your guy. I mean Lanning is a Sophmore....not bagging on Joel here, everything was awful tonight...I just wonder if the staff has a ton of confidence in him. I could be totally wrong.
