this season is not on coaching. most of these players should be in the FCS. Not sure these LB's could tackle a CIML running back
The defenses got worse as Rhoads tenure went on.
This team racks up penalities like they've never played football before.
Always higher alcohol percentage when watching ISU footballso here's an important question to help me get through the second half: Brooklyn brown ale or rum?
Pretty sure Rhoads and Wally coached up this defense pretty well on gamedays. Defense might be BAAAAADDDD this year, which means we will be even worse than last year's team.
That being said, I'll take Campbell's recruiting over Rhoads anyday
The losses might not be on coaching. But the effort and other things are on coaching.
These terrible, terrible football players managed to have a one thousand yard rusher and so far were much better against the same teams last year. AND we had the most terrible football coach in the history of the world. Even if we lost a lot of 'good' players last year, we got rid of the most awful coach to walk the sidelines.
So, yes, a person does expect to see some improvement.
They're playing a team that's SIGNIFICANTLY better than they are on their home turf. They were overmatched by two FCS lines...they're going against what are two of the best lines every damn year in college football. If you expected this to be pretty you're out of your damn mind.Does the team look any better this week? That's partially on coaching.
so here's an important question to help me get through the second half: Brooklyn brown ale or rum?
Basically, once Knott and Klein were gone and we were stuck with purely Rhoads recruits (besides the lucky one).
so here's an important question to help me get through the second half: Brooklyn brown ale or rum?
