I really like Joel. Good kid, really good athlete, tough as nail, hard worker. I want him to succeed. That said, the O is just more fluid with Park. A blind man can see it.

Lanning needs to be on the field in some capacity though. He's too good of an athlete not to be. Just maybe not at QB. There are a lot of options.

Especially next year because we should have a capable QB backup in Noland.

23 points and only having the ball for 7 minutes and 51 seconds is not shabby. I expect to see the running game open up in the 2nd half. Defense still has work to do but the 2 int's were great and I think we had 4 sacks.

Noland won't pass Lanning or Park next year.

Not sure that's what Doc said. He said Noland will be a capable back up, and agreed that Lanning is a good enough and tough enough athlete to be on the field in, perhaps, another capacity.
