I know people will call me an idiot, so take it however you may please. But I have a very reliable source that tells me Wigginton will be picking Iowa State this weekend. I would put my confidence based on the source around 85%.

Do you know if he is basing this on new info?

Seems like ISU felt really good a few days ago, then yesterday the knowledgeable media guys flipped to Oregon. Presumably with new insider info pointing that way.

I really don't know if Halsted had "insider info" to make him sway that way. Because I saw him tweet out that his reasoning was "Oregon was always the favorite because of the Canada ties, but it felt like Iowa State was close recently." Doesn't really indicate any specific rumblings or anything, just that Oregon was the favorite and with him all of the sudden being ready to make his decision, that all signs point to Oregon. IDK, might be wishful thinking on my part.

Right........and Halstead just happened to change his crystal ball to Oregon for no reason. He's the most in touch source we have that follows ISU recruiting. That confidence of 85% must leave a strong leftover for that 15%.

I think Halsted might be following suit, with Meyers changing his crystal ball. It doesn't seem like there is a definitive reason Halsted changed, or a source that gave him inside info (at least that he hasn't claimed) so who knows. Not saying that Meyers didn't have quality inside information that was the reason for his change, but I dont think Halsted is as in-the-know as Meyers.

Halstead could have changed his pick because he didn't have any new information after Prohm's visit and he was just following what Meyer did.

edit: It seems srjclone beat me too it and said it in a much more complete and coherent manner.
