We are in a nationally televised game vs a great traditional team and only behind by one score with 8 minutes to go and this stupid end zone seating is 1/2 full in the lower part and 1/3 full up top. Absolutely pathetic showing.

Come down off the ledge. No sane person expected a capacity crowd every night. You'll get a lot of butts in the seats for big early games and later too as Campbell builds this thing. Completely silly to judge the decision off one November Thursday night game against a team we haven't beaten in 26 years.

If this was even a 4 win team, that place would be packed. If this was the first down yr, that place would be packed. Give us something to chear for - give us hope and we'll do our part. Until then, this is what you get. Btw - the end zone should have been bowled in 10 yrs ago - looks great.

You want an actual answer, okay. Look at game attendance trends during the last 5 years. Trice has been packed consistently over that time period. The college has been making plenty of money (or paying down debts on the expansions they made for football facilities) because the stadium has been filled with a mediocre to bad product at best. The powers at be are counting on ISU being a competitive team in the next 5 years under Campbell. If that is true Trice will be filled regardless. Iowans have nothing else to do than go to Iowa and Iowa state games.

I am really sorry you went to watch Iowa State play a decent game versus OU. When I went in college i think state got 50 pointed, and that was in the 2000's. ISU is 1-8 this year, and the game is on a Thursday night. I know you want a rabid fan base, but honestly, our fan base is much more dedicated than most.

I don't know how much college football the OP watches. There are a ton of teams with winning records who aren't packing stadiums. There are NO teams with 9 wins over nearly four years who are drawing the way ISU is. Empty or full, that SEZ looks great in person and on TV. Frankly, our stadium was embarrassing for a power 5 school prior to that enhancement. It will be full soon enough based on what I am seeing.
