Rivals Big 12 2017 Class breakdown.

3. Iowa State Cyclones (23 overall)
The class: PG Lindell Wigginton [No. 40], SF Terrance Lewis [No. 116], PG Darius McNeil [NR, 3-star]

Analysis: Steve Prohm had big shoes to fill when he left Murray State to replace Fred Hoiberg as the coach at Iowa State, but he’s more than holding his own on the recruiting trail. The biggest addition for the Cyclones is four-star Wigginton, an athletic guard with elite play-making ability and a rare level of competitiveness. Lewis and McNeil will also be good players for the Cyclones and help to solidify their perimeter rotation.

After seeing what Oregon and Baylor are doing with JUCO bigs, I'd be a little disappointed if we didn't grab one.

Well his shorts are certainly long enough....
Looks like a good athlete. I guess it's hard to say what type of JUCO Prohm would be willing to take in this class to compliment what else we will have. Is he looking for a true difference-maker, and Is there even one available? Is he looking for more of a solid practice player with good work ethic and leadership skills to rub off on our many young players?

So what exactly is an early 2000s type of game? I've been playing and watching basketball my whole life, and I have no clue what he is referring to. Anyone have an idea?
Early 2000's was an Era of basketball where rap was a huge influence in the way the players dressed and played. The players all had a little attitude and we're not afraid to show it. The dunks, passes, or even sometimes simple drives to the basketball were done with some style and flare. It was a time where guys who were super athletic were valued over guys who excelled at certain things on the court for the most part.
