I believe Bradenton is only a couple of hours from Orlando. I wondered if Stokes was going to go up and watch any of the games at the tournament as both ISU and Florida were playing.

Solomon Young just may be that big before all is said and done and obviously Stokes is also a step in the right direction. I'd like to get to a point where we aren't so reliant on hitting home runs in the grad transfer market in the post - seems like Prohm wants the same.
I could be wrong, but I think they are saying if the floor of our bigs recruiting improves, we can start challenging them but it's not there yet.
Lard, Stokes and Young would be great for 3 years. Next year could be rough with their youth but I think Kasongo could fill the Holden roll pretty easily. If we get a solid JUCO or grad transfer big, I think we're a tourney team again.
Speaking of KU, I'd take Stokes or Young having a floor of Landen Lucas. Imagine this team now, plus a Landen Lucas. And I don't even really like Lucas. I think KU is also really hurting for front court depth.
I'm thinking next year WILL be rough. I'm OK with that if we are rolling out young guys with talent. I see a one year blip. If we make the NCAA's next year it would be a tremendous achievement. Too early to say but when you look at the roster it looks a bit daunting.
A lot will depend on how good Wigginton is.. But it will be the first year in a long time where we probably don't have NCAA Tourney expectations.
