So I called Target to see if they would honor the early access online pricing. They had to look in back for the iPad Mini 2, but they found one. And Keith said they would honor the price. Wish me luck when I go in! If it happens, Target will remain my all time number 1 favorite store. I just bought myself a shirt this month that says , "Target is my Happy Place"

not actually going anywhere tomorrow. Wonder what we should do. Dh probably wouldn't be happy if I said paint the hallway. Maybe I should get some meat tonight and then make filled noodles. He was sad we won't be eating Thanksgiving food tomorrow but I said you'll get plenty on Saturday.

Might buy a new Dell desktop on Black Friday deal.. I know I know ..desktop and old guy but I want a replacement for my old obsolete totes unsupported unupdatable Vista runnin' thingy. Want a desktop for doing a bunch of photo and video projects I have and this unit is only $429 with 12GB memory and Windows Pro 7 with 10 pro license. Office center stuff with my laser printer and scanner but use laptop for other stuff. Decent deal.
I had some chaser level luck ordering shoes. I ordered a size 10, they sent a size 7 in a size 10 box...at first I didn't realize it, so I was like "jeeze, these sizes are off and my calves must be super fat" but..not totally the case. Anyway, they're sending a label so that I don't have to pay for shipping back and then they gave me a promotional credit ($15) to use on a new purchase, yay 6pm (zappos!)

The only question I would have is whether it would affect your holiday pay for Thursday. I've worked at places that don't pay for the holiday if you didn't work each day around it (barring scheduled time off).
In other words, calling in cost people the day. Just something annoying to ponder, but you probably already know how it works at your place.
My mom has this issue working for a school. Can't take vacation the day before or after spring or Christmas breaks.
that would be annoying as hell. Fairly often I'll put in an extra day around Christmas/Memorial Day etc. Though I'm not already getting a week/3 weeks off around that time so I can somewhat see the point on the teaching side.
