If I were their fans, I wouldn't be too concerned. They have plenty of experience, plus we haven't been unbeatable at home recently.

Their top two scorers against us last year are back (Caupain (18) and Evans (14)). Plus Kyle Washington (who we wanted). Those seem to be their three scorers (especially Evans and Washington at 16.8 and 17.8 respectively). Evans was the guy who came off the bench and lit us up for a while if I remember correctly.

They really play directly in to our strengths from what I watched. We can check them with superior talent at every spot imo.

I think we are better in most spots, and I'm not going in thinking this is a loss, but they are always well coached and play tough, physical defense (which translates on the road). Their team assist to turnover is almost identical to ours too.

Uhhh, what? We have one of the longer non-con home win streaks in the nation, I think, it is fair to put us up their as a scary place to go before Conference play. Outside of Baylor and WV, nobody has consistently come into Hilton and beat us the last 4 years, idk why you think it's not a hard place to play.

That went over your head.

They're a gritty team that will always play hard, I hope we can win convincingly, but I am expecting a hard fought game for 40 minutes.

I learned that ISU learned they can't just show up and expect a W vs. Indiana State, but I don't feel like they're going to approach this game that way even if they held up against Gonzaga.

Still going to be tough though.

This site will be melting screens if ISU drops one or both of Cinci and Iowa.

Guys, I'm not saying Hilton isn't a tough place to play. Every road game is tough, though, and I just wouldn't expect their fans to be particularly fearful of it. Phog Allen doesn't really inspire fear in me other than guys in the stripes.

It's a road game so you gotta play a few points better than you normally would. Nothing I would post fears about online.

Also, their use of "there"/"their"/"they're" is absolutely attrocious. Must be all that Sky-Line chili messing up their insides.

Fair, but that is different because we see Phog Allen once a year and play tough there. I think that is way different than a team coming in, that gets 1 maybe 2 (non-tournament) high-quality non-conference games a season, and has never played in Hilton Magic. If Cincinnati was going into Phog Allen on Thursday, I would be willing to bet that The Phog's atmosphere would have been brought up.

They are a good defensive team and Ken Pom has them about the same as Iowa State. Evans and Washington have both been really good for them. I think they are legit but if ISU plays defense like they are capable this year they should win. Especially at home.

ISU has lost a total of 5 games at Hilton over the last four seasons and that includes the non-charge call vs. KU in 2013. So if you want to call that "we haven't been unbeatable at home recently" then go ahead...

I'm expecting ISU to play a full 40 minutes of sound defense. I think they really discovered their potential regarding the same in Florida. I don't think Cinci will be ready for Hilton Magic.
