Looks like Race Thompson's team is playing in this event as well.

I hope the staff doesn't waste a whole lot of time on Race. He's not coming to Ames. More likely he attends Iowa. He's either heading somewhere warm or playing in the Big10. His dad's one of the biggest names to play football at Minnesota, and his mother played volleyball at Iowa. My guess is he heads to Madison. His older sister played volleyball there and I know his parents love the school.

Well, the Wisconsin insider has us as his crystal ball pick at the moment. So I'm glad you aren't the lead recruiter.

This actually flies in the face of what's been reported on at least one paysite.

It would be a surprise. His mother has never had any interest in her kids going to ISU. Don't think I haven't pushed ISU on her since her kids were babies. If Prohm pulls off that commitment no one should ever have a worry on his ability to recruit. I'd l love to have him. Great family...parents were both amazing athletes..

I just hope we can lock down some good big guys in the near future. I'm tired of watching us give up 15 offensive rebounds a night.

Agreed. We don't even need a lot of them, just a couple legit B12 bigs.

Young looks promising. Hopefully Lard can be another one.

Kinda there with ya. When you see big guys that play for Gonzaga, St. Mary's, Creighton, Valpo, Purdue, etc. (non-bluebloods) that score and rebound...makes me jealous. I know they're trying to recruit them, but its seems hard to get 'em here. Of course, the 7 ft. big for Creighton was a 4star right out of Omaha. Never thought I'd see GMac have this good of a team without Dougie. And how in the heck did he pull in Foster?

Yeah...we know why he left KState. But the question was, how did GMac fetch him. I'm sure he learned from his mistakes and Creighton is the benefactor.
