Has to be hard for the bigs knowing that even if they get in the game their not supposed to touch the ball or try and score while the rest of the team jacks up any trash shot they feel like. I guess that's the reason we never see any post feeds. IMO young sould transfer if that's the trash they are gunna play year in and out under prohm.

Um, Holden shot multiple free throws last game. He missed, but I think he got fouled because he had the ball.

Young should transfer....wow. Good stuff there.

Like shooting low percentage shots never happened prior to Prohm.

People are wondering why the offense is one dimensional and a complete turd factory... You just got it. You guys stand under the basket and wait for these other guys to launch a contested fade away.. I wouldn't blame young if he did is all

Ball movement was much better with Holden in the game.

I haven't loved ISU's offense, but it's really hard to generate much movement when the defense has to pay attention to one area, and that area doesn't have a lot of athleticism to begin with

I'd recommend watching more college basketball in general...plenty of standing around and 3 chuckin', and that's with teams with far more athleticism than ISU.

I watch a ton of college basketball.. And you have go out of your way to shut down your own bigs as much as Iowa state does. If prom plays like this after this year we won't see another good post player here until he's gone. No one will want to come here to rebound while the guards try and pad their stats.

Iowa State doesn't have much for bigs. Holden started 10 games and wasn't buying into what he needed to do.

He's not good at offense and never has been, but can help the team the most by being present down low and being effective on defense. Notice how he played a lot last game because he was doing those things?

Never mind..it's just relentless waterfall of gloom and doom for some.

Good grief...go pick another team if you hate this one that badly.

We did just have a "big" lead us in scoring last year. I'd say he got plenty of touches.

I wasn't real happy about McKay at this time last year, but I do miss his inside presence and amazing speed in transition. This year, we get to see how truly special he was.

And again, it might have been an isolated moment. Maybe Bowie was pisded off and his attitude was not good That doesn't mean his attitude was bad yesterday or will be tomorrow......
.

Doesn't look like this was an isolated incident. Hope Bowie can get his act together as we do need him.

Yeah, I know I keep going back in forth. I've questioned the offense, yet other times supported CSP in that they're running w/their strengths, having no post presence. I know, frustration can make one question, so I'll keep that in mind. But I'm watching this Nebraska game & a raw freshmen big for NU has 10 pts already. Can't say for sure if they are running good plays to get him some good lay ups or MichSt is allowing penetration by NU's quick guards & getting him the ball. But I'll guarantee you the kid isn't any more talented or skilled than Holden. Just wish we could get more done thru him but I suppose we tried when he started initially. So frustrating to watch average bigs from average teams still be a factor. Still have hope Holden can help us yet, but am I dreaming?
