2008 called.......it wants its Lady Gaga relevance back.

Inauthentic. I feel highly manipulated. Worse so than when Bruce slid and yelled "Is anybody out there alive?" or whatever his schtick is into the camera.

Tom Petty and Prince are the gold standards for authentic half time shows.

dirtyninety is displeased. Color me shocked. LOL

No offense, but you have to include the MJ show, and to be honest, U2 doing "Where the Streets Have No Name" with the 9/11 names was incredible

Lady Gaga is weird

Maybe. I say this as somebody who doesn't even particularly care for her music, but there were at least portions of that performance where she was actually singing live. You could tell by the way you could hear her breaths between lines and she sounded fantastic.

Plus the fact that she had the shoutout to dad and mom in such a massive moment where it might not be considered cool makes me like her even more.

I'll agree with that.
Sad there are so many Haters on here....I am only calling out the inauthentic.
"Hi Mom, Hi Dad". the hug with the crying crowd participant. BArf alert.
