I ate some frosted mini wheats instead. I'm even more sad and more disappointed now.

Rough week at work this week. Thankfully, the Clones provided much needed distraction. Now drinking a beer and playing a videogame (haven't played a video game in MONTHS!). Decided to go with Akai Katana Shin:

I'm rusty as hell. The beer might not be helping my concentration either.

Not sure if any of you do this, but my wife says I see a potential accident/disaster in everything I see. Now matter how insignificant it may seem. Glass with water next to the edge of the table? I can't resist moving it away from the edge. Something on the floor? Can't help moving it out of the way, thinking someone might trip over it. Etc.

It doesn't help that I seem to have a photographic memory when it comes to objects in a room. Positioning of everything there raises flags of everything that could fall, break, get lost, etc. I'm also like that when it comes to injury, always thinking of every potential way someone could get injured.

Is this normal?

Gaming? I think GTO is channeling his inner Krieger.

That reminds me of another video game I have called Deathsmiles II, where one of the bosses you encounter is an evil Santa Claus (Satan Claus) and his giant reindeer. Because Japan. Similar character design. If you like frantic bullet hell games, highly recommended:

So it's like the old 80's defender game with Japanese Anime' (spelling?) thrown in? That is all I could figure out from the trailer.

Pretty much what games like Galaga and Moon Patrol evolved into. They're called SHMUPS (shoot 'em ups) or Bullet Hell games. Throughout the years they just got more and more intense with complicated enemy attack/bullet patterns to dodge through. Then they became almost impossible to dodge, so they now usually equip you with a limited amount of last resort reflector shield/bullet absorbing gimmick to help you get out of tight spots at times.

They can be pretty difficult. In Japan, they have professional players who play these games in their highest difficulty and finish them without dying even once (they call this "1 CC'ing" the game, or one credit). They even sell what they call "superplay" videos. I'm nowhere near that good, but it is still one of my favorite genres of video games.

Sorry for the long nerd rant.
