#RISINGSJU has gone 8-24 and 14-19 in Matt A's two years there. Probably a good time to see the writing on the wall and head for a fresh start instead of stay with the sinking ship.
The anger should have been directed at Hoiberg. Particularly if you're a Cyclone and Bulls fanI'm sure it was, but he probably knows it's curtains for Mullin next year.
Hopefully people aren't still butthurt that he took a different job (with his alma mater) when he knew Fred was headed to the NBA.
I do not exactly blame him for going back to his alma mater to "get out of dodge" when he probably knew long before us that Fred was going to the Bulls.
Doing the same thing on a sinking ship at SJU well... shrewd.
Not the most loyal, but loyalty is rarely to the point you go down with the ship.
Annoyed he took Darrien Williams with him, of course, that was a slimy move, but I am comforted by Williams being a flop and Matt A needing to bail on his "dream job" here.
Is Henry going to get a bench job?He 100% knew Fred was gone when he left which is why he left. He would have followed Fred to Chicago but he knew he didn't have much value on an NBA bench because he's a recruiter through and through
