Something else to consider is that if truly he and the WR are a package deal, I highly doubt that we'd take another 5'9" WR. That would be three very short WR's for one class.
I would like to have a mixture of receiver but if we get three really good slot receivers, i would say run with it. Sometimes you just have to go with the best players you can get

Barber is also listed as a CB. Food for thought.

I know its before our visit, but CB prediction are 100% TCU. Halsted even has him TCU on July 5th.

I know you can't go by that, but hopefully this visit does it for him!

In addition it isn't like the players you get in one class are necessarily your only options. There are kids from 5 different recruiting classes on the team at any one time. A small receiver may end up changing to a third down back or handle return duties. If players can play, there are places to use them.

I think it's safe to say he likes Ames, Iowa.

Park said in an article yesterday there's nothing to do in Ames except school and football. Deandre Kane said Ames is there to focus on school and basketball.

Takes guys that commit 100% to school and football to come here and turn the program around. Are completely dedicated to improving your game then Ames seems like a fit. If you're interested in playing but also social scene Ames is not the place. I think that's something to sell young guys.
