Robert Woodard, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Columbus (MS) High School, says Ole Miss, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Alabama have been working the hardest for his recruitment. He broke down each school on Sunday
Iowa State: “They have a very up and down pace and they’re also a very aggressive team.”

New interest for ISU Aussie PG Flynn Cameron 6'2" 190 lbs.
When you watch Cameron play among the first things you notice is his craftiness. Cameron has a strong handle, good vision and is a pass first set up guard.

“Watching Steph Curry and Allen Iverson,” he said. “Those are the players I take after.”

This month, Cameron has pulled in a wide range of college interest from the likes of Iowa State, Marquette, UW-Milwaukee, Wofford, Valparaiso, UMass, WKU, Winthrop, Seton Hall and Abilene Christian.

Woodard was also playing for Team Thad this weekend so the staff got a good look. I saw he had an ISU offer but wasn't sure where we were at with him. Good to hear.

Plans to commit around his OV to us.

Last I knew, we were his only OV scheduled and he wants to commit around the first of September. It always gets a nerve-wracking when kids blow up before they visit, but I'd have to think that we're far and away the team to beat. Kid's a ballplayer. I don't care that he's 5'10".

I believe he was going to visit Colorado State for sure, but we are the favorite at this point, and he has said as much
