Bloody Marys are the only mixed drink I have with any frequency, and I absolutely love them.
And if i just want to get drunk: Adios Mother F*cker (for those unaware, its a long island, but you flip the coke for sprite, and the triple sec for blue curacao)
Pina Colada
White Russian
Amaretto Sour
Rum & Coke
Vodka Tonic
(Don't judge)
1. Margarita (on the rocks with salt)
2. Vodka/Mountain Dew (gives the least hangover)
3. Kessler Whisky/Squirt (poor man's whiskey sour)
4. Long Island Iced Tea
5. A ward-8. You take Bourbon, orange juice and lemon juice and shake it. Then pour it in a glass and top with grenadine. Very tasty.
1 1/4 oz. Curacao, blue
1 1/4 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Grenadine
1/4 oz. Lime Juice
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
Mixing Instructions
Add ice and mix in blender for a frozen drink. Or shake with ice and pour into ice-filled glass.
As for #2........soda actually enhances the misery of a hangover. Something about the sugar. You'd be better off drinking the vodka straight. Also, clear liquors (vodka, gin, rum) have fewer "poisons" in them, and so contribute less to hangovers than the whiskies. I have managed to retain some of what I learned tending bar! (And I'm going to try your #5 - sounds good!) If you have not had a Brandy old-fashioned sweet - made properly, Iowa bartenders tend to struggle with it - you should try one. I think you'd like it.
Lagavulin 16... plus an ice cube which could be considered a mix. Otherwise, whiskey sprite with varying qualities of whiskey.

Rank your top 5 mixed drinks. If you aren’t a frequent liquor consumer, rank the 5 you’d be most likely to order whenever you do.
Go!
