RECRUITING: Iowa State listed in Ta'Zhawn Henry's top three

In all likelihood, he is Ft. Worth bound. Did find an article, dated last Thursday, where his quote on the Frogs is prototypical recruit answer and his quote on the good guys is far more glowing. Again, doesn't mean squat but trying to keep SOME hope until we get the news tonight.

I do not understand announcement day media events like this. You've scheduled an event more than a week out, so clearly you have an answer. What is the point of dragging out the decision of where you wish to attend school? Is a few minutes in front of a mic, and days of baiting the general public on social media, really going to make you feel better about a decision?
It feels like a bf/gf taunting their significant other with a breakup for some weird, twisted personal pleasure.
I sure hope he commits to ISU - Ta'Zhawn, if you're reading this, the Cardinal & Gold will be your greatest support. Yet let's just make a decision and get to work!

He picked this day over two months ago I believe. Visited both schools unofficially on his own money since.
I always thought it would be funny if a recruit made a decision in-spite of media predictions and speculation....
In all honestly I was a little surprised that Taye Barber stayed committed to TCU, he wanted to play WR and they have 3 others committed already. (even more on Rivals actually).....

Ahh, interesting. I only saw news late July about an announcement day coming up for Henry. If this day was scheduled even further back that only further fuels my confusion.
It sucks he is going to TCU but RB is the position I worry about least when it comes to recruting. We will get someone good late like we usually do.
Hey, we have 3 "Bailey's" on the DL currently, why not a couple "Montgomery's" in the backfield, right?

Glad he made his decision so everyone can move on. He would have been great in cardinal and gold.
