Tonight looks to be a grand standoff between Cerci and Danny. I wonder if to resolve everything, there will be a trial by combat. Cerci chooses the Mountain, Danny the Hound, for all the marbles.

There will be so many characters that are so intertwined, yet have never met before or have met, but haven't seen each other in many seasons. It's going to be insane. For example, Jon Snow only met Cerci briefly in the very beginning of season 1. Jamie, Bronn, Pod and Tyrion have all been linked at one time or another. There's Jamie and Brianne too, which I think will get a scene due to Sansa mentioning Jamie last episode, when she sent Brianne off to Kings Landing.

I also think the Sansa vs Arya squabbling is all a cover to set up Petyr Balish for a big fall. I could see the three of them in a room giving him the riot act, then his demise. Or better yet, Arya somehow takes the face of her mothe Katlyn, to mess with Littlefingers head, and then offs him.

Does the wall come down? I'm not sure, but I could totally see the Kight King and his newly minted Ice Dragon melting that mother down so his undead army can pass freely. It seems to make sense since the wall, with its magical properties, would only be able to be destroyed by another powerful magicalonight looks to be a grand standoff between Cerci and Danny. Can't wait to see this all unfold.

So you obviously read a leaked script.

Stream of consciousness:
  • Best TV moment was the hesitating wight in a box scene. Was thinking, damn, it died and then BOOM! Loved that.
  • Die Little Finger die.
  • Least surprising, Cersei is 100% totes evil to the bone except when it comes to pulling the trigger to kill a brother(s), cause family (maybe since she used Tyrion).
  • A little anti-climactic was the ice dragon taking down the wall. I think we all knew that was coming. I think Thormund lived though as he retreated along the top of wall and wasn't killed with those trying to climb down.
  • Damn, Jon, sessy time with your aunt? How very Lannister of you, however predictable.
  • And Bran does not know everything as he needed Samwell's help to complete the puzzle.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a Game of Thrones season 8 premiere date yet. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, told Collider that the final season of the show will start production in October. If the show follows a similar schedule as it has in the past, that means Game of Thrones season 8 could start as early as next summer or as late as spring 2019, depending on how long and CGI-intensive the episodes are.

The Targaryens invented incest long, long before they conquered Westeros, much less long before Cersei and Jaime were even around. So much so that I hear they considered having their house words be "...in the family it's the best", but "Fire and Blood" sounded much more intimidating.

Basically, considering Jon is a Targaryen, nailing his aunt, that's just par for the course in that family.

I do wonder how Cersei will be dragged into the battle as the ice dragon can bring the war to her now. Holy cow she is evil how do you see something like that and only think about yourself? Definitely will stink to wait a long time for the last season.

I actually was disappointed overall for this being a season finale. And how are they going to tie everything up nicely, and believably in six episodes?

Everything was pretty predictable tonight and only one death (Littlefinger) which we knew was gonna happen soon.

I wish they would have ended the season last week with the huge undead war and the dragon opening it's blue eye and have all next season start with tonight's. That's kind of nitpicky but whatevs.
