I'm understanding that I do a crappy job staying in touch with people seeing how it took message boards to meet Velo and Lawman again. Thankfully there are no 42-47 year old women on in the RTT incase it was someone I dated.

I fit the bill, but I met hubby the first day I was on campus and didn't date any of the other 10,000 guys at ISU during that time.

She can text other Apple devices, but I was looking for the best way for her to wi-fi text my Samsung. I've done zero research on it.

We use a free app called textPlus. It assigns a phone number, so she can text our Samsung devices from the iPad (and now iPhone "iPod") and we can text her back at that number. It has ads and supposedly if you watch "free" videos you can use it for a phone call, but right now we just text.

I was thinking the same thing. She's pretty strikingly beautiful in that pic though.

Not everyone ages as gracefully as Boxster.

Anybody else think it's pretty cool that BC and Velo just realized they knew each other over 20 years ago?

It would have been cooler if they had realized they had been in a fight with each other at a frat party over some gal who dumped them both for Lawyerman. Just Sayin'.

Per actuary tables 20% of the people born my birth year are already dead. Keeping in touch is overrated.

Mrs. Velo and I didn't have your advice when in Hawai'i so we hiked down into the Haleakala crater.

Luckily dormant...
I wonder where Pants is going. If he is headed to Poas, that one has the largest calderas of any active volcanoes (maybe the largest?). I only know that tidbit because Poas is visible from the border of Panama.

My too drunk turned into too hungover so I didn't go. I can't remember the name of the volcano, but it wasn't that one. I'm at Playa Conchal and it was like an hour and a half drive from there, if that helps at all.

Before we were all on IOS devices, this is what we used.

From what I hear about the roads in Costa Rica, that is probably about 3 miles. I suppose the howler monkeys probably wouldn't be the best for a hangover.
