I think I have a TV crush on Mandi on Iron Resurrection. The whole gang is pretty personable and they don't have any of that stupid contrived conflict stuff. And they build cool cars from pieces of **** that I think would be better off on the scrap heap.

Here's one @VeloClone, you're the rear end that terrified me about the ceiling. Old Barge is scared he will fall through, so were one or two of the girls. You were nice enough to say that the girls are too light to fall through, barge is fat enough that he will just wedge between the boards so the only one that is heavy enough and thin enough to fall through is BC.
I don't remember that specifically but that does sound like some smart aleck comment I would make. It is funny how we make a flippant comment like that and never even remember it but it affects someone else and they never forget. Sorry I scared you.

Truth be told working at HIlton and CY helped my fear of heights immensely. I still get sweaty palms, but my fear has mostly changed to a healthy respect. I was pretty freaked out with my kids at the Grand Canyon this spring though. Not really afraid for me, but constantly picturing one of my kids screwing around and going over the edge.

Oh, and don't forget 1990's Velo was thin enough to go through as well...

...but he had been up there enough that he had gotten way more comfortable than his first time up there.

I think the reason I talked about that is that I was always a little concerned about new people forgetting that the boards were just nailed up in to the stringers so I had to get across to people that even just one step on those boards was NOT AN OPTION.

Not exactly sure.

It didn't scare me, just giving you a hard time. More one of those, thanks for singling me out especially as barge is standing next to me. You definitely were wirery with long hair. Only two times at Hilton got me. One when you had me and another guy pull the flags up and when Austin took a couple of Us on top of Hilton to see an eclipse (that we couldn't see anything) and make us stand on the edge. It was windy up there.

NIce thing about pulling up the flags was if you did fall you were only going to fall about 30 feet rather than 80.;)
