depends on the issue. If it is the weed issue then let them play. Some of the best players we've had at ISU were friends with weed.

They get one free shot at the weed, that is a school policy. And since most players aren't missing games for weed, they are likely not having trouble sticking to the policy.

I want the best players to play so we have a chance to win.
If we don't have a chance to win against KU without Park then it doesn't really matter anyways. (We do, though). A two week period of OU and KU is about as good of time as one can have for discipline this late in the year.

It's still early in CMC's tenure and nothing would erode things more than not establishing his authority. It's not the smoking weed that is a big problem, it's the getting caught violating team rules multiple times that's a problem.

This thread is all you need to know about this website. Whoever the hell stated that he failed a drug test should be ashamed of themselves. Completely untrue. He and Campbell were heated after the game and got into it. End of story. He’ll be back soon barring a set back.

This news is so anti climatic and shouldn’t surprise anyone. He was completely lost vs Texas. (Sure, protection was bad), but he appeared to have a psychological “break.” I’m surprised there hasn’t been more discussion on this topic.

I was told it was big “nothingburger” in fighting thread started after game last week.

You mean like you? One of the thinnest skinned posters on this site? Are you still sore about Lanning not playing vs WVU last year or Hoiberg leaving us?

And I don't give a **** that you think I am thin skinned. That's the ******* point. I say my piece and then let everyone else have at it. (And I contend I was right about Lanning against West Virginia, considering the offense sucked **** that day too and our current quarterback either can't be a team player or can't stop smoking pot long enough to pass a test early in the season.)

If people want to post rumors that they know are true, they have to realize that not everyone will believe them. You will note that, in this thread, I believed the original poster.

It seems a bit much to keep a player at home and miss a week of preparation because he was pissed last week.

Hope people eat crow in this thread. Just goes to show you can't bring any tidbit of info to cf without getting murdered for it.

Not going to eat crow. As it turns out the OP was right, but there was absolutely nothing there to back it up. There have certainly been other things posted on CF in the past that turned out to be total BS. Not sure what CMC gained from coming out and stating that Park was not suspended. Not likely that the other two options scare the Sooners much.

Don't have to believe, but trashing him in a thread that was clearly labeled rumor is pointless

Or, you know, let the story be reported through media folks.
Maybe even have a better OP than "violation of team rules."
That's classic fly-by stuff from trolls. Complain about the response all night long, but it was justified. I'll certainly respond like that next time.

True, but I'd also expect repercussions if I disrespected the staff as a player, particularly in front of the team. I didn't see that happen, but who knows what went down this week.

These guys aren't stupid, they know when the staff fails. But it's up to CMC to make sure they handle that in a productive manner. Well played by CMC to use a sure-loss game to try and get ahead of it.

He’s suspended because him and Campbell got into it after the Texas game. Campbell is equally to blame from what I’ve heard. That shoulder check didn’t help cool Park down at all. Then he wouldn’t let it go in the locker room. Bad all around. Not to mention his little text to Tommy Birch yesterday. That was a real good look.

Campbell texted Birch yesterday and said Park was not suspended this weekend. I don’t understand the motive. Not like Oklahoma has to throw out the game plan.
