If any of this is true, maybe they don't want to ruin Noland's confidence by throwing him to the wolves. Kansas is a good first game to have, Oklahoma not so much.

Just stating the obvious -while it is very disappointing for the fans, this is just a young kid, I am glad I don't have to have hard lessons/issues aired for all to see- hope he works thru it - time to get behind the team and the ones working hard to makeup for the huge loss.

As far as our football team goes, I'm slightly concerned that our coaches turned the whole thing over to a guy that clearly had some issues. I mean, we had a somewhat good QB that is now on defense. I imagine a guy like Lazard is pretty pissed.

If it's really about weed I guess I can tolerate it. He's gotta be consistent. But he still handled it pretty poorly, even if that's the case.

Why not say he isn't playing? He danced around it with that text to Birch.

Maybe he hadn't completely decided? Maybe it wasn't an official failed test but Campbell knowing Park smokes more than is conducive to success and CMC challenging his captain, starting-QB this week?

Handled it poorly? Not at all. Deflecting and distorting is standard operating procedure with this stuff.

There being conflict between Park and Campbell/coaches in the locker room last Thursday is 100% true (and more than just the normal after loss emotions). But that or the continuation of that is not the reason he isn't in Norman.
