FYI, schools/coached can NOT announce a failed drug test on college student athletes. hence why we always hear "violation of team rules" . I know nothing of parks situation, but for those thinking Campbell should have told them he truth, sorry you won't .

43 years of following ISU football. I know the drill. Let's see what happens Saturday.

So you know exactly what will happen tomorrow then! Haha. In all seriousness though, I think things are changing, but it will take quite a bit of time to turn around a program like ours.

I think we need a 30 for 30 on us, titled something like, Being Iowa State: 100 years of suck

Clonedude wetting himself again.

The UT game was just one loss against a mediocre, but more talented team. It was never going to be a turning point in which nothing bad happens and we win out thereafter, even with a win. All that other stuff doesn't matter and the game against OU was always going to be a loss.

Last week was disappointing and Park may not be the leader a marginally talented team like ISU needs, but most programs fall short against OU and players violating team rules happens everywhere.
And you keep saying how much more talent Texas had but where it counts on the OL, they are us. Take the time to compare. But keep preaching..and so will I, if I were a good football coach I wouldn't step foot in Ames Iowa.

But you're not, so how would you know how the mind, ego, etc work for a good young football coach?

Experience watching coach after coach fail. It is what it is...head football graveyard after Earl Bruce.
So where is all the coaching success before or after their ISU stints for these coaches since Bruce? Nowhere, because ISU has hired bad to mediocre coaches, and has therefore been bad to mediocre. Seeiously, far and away the most success outside ISU was Chiz, who was quickly canned once Cam Newton, Nick Fairly and Gus Malzahn were off the payroll. Mike Shula was garbage at Alabama. John Blake was Garbage at OU. Strong was garbage at UT. Pinkel won at traditionally horrid Mizzou and we all know about Snyder. Good coaches win, bad coaches lose. It's that simple. Hire a good coach at ISU and he will win.

I don't think anyone can win here. No matter how good they are.

You don't seem to know much about college football. People have said that about a lot of universities over time, Kansas and Kansas State in our own conference felt like that. You want to tell me Bill Snyder wouldn't have won at Iowa State, seriously?

WTF is Campbell doing?
We’re going to lose by more.

DUDE ON EDGE OF CLIFF TYPING IN CAPS.

Is Park gone forever?
Park might be back for Kansas?
Bowl hopes gone?
ISU can’t have nice things.

I skipped a lot of pages, but that’s a summary.

Thanks. Suspected as much but didn't read the drama. Hope the weather is good for the rest of the home games.

Tom Petty dies and Jacob Park can't play... therefore Tom Petty is Jacob Park! Tom Petty is a mediocre quarterback for a ****** college football team!!!!

....next time, let us all know where the after party is so we can drink late too!

If true, he’s really handling this wrong. I don’t give s flying **** if he misled the media (although to think Oklahoma finding out yesterday vs today matters is stupid.) But if he’s really back next week then call it a 1 game suspension and be done with it. Saying a leave from the team makes it sound like he’s one step from a mental hospital or not functioning due to drugs. And then he comes back in a week and everything is solved.
Guess Georgia knew something we didn't.

He wouldn't have ever come here.
