Call me over reacting I don't care, but without Park as QB we won't win another game this season.

I don't think that is overacting at all. It's a little skeptical but hardly unreasonably pessimistic. We had better still be able to pull off a win for homecoming but no Park the rest of the way and we likely get run by the rest of the league.

Yes good old Earle Bruce and his 31-0 pasting of the Ioa Squawkeyes in kinnick, endeared himself to cyclone fans forever.....

Back then I could not have cared less about the hoks. 20 consecutive years of losing seasons.
Earle showed his props by beating top 10 Nebraska two years in a row.

Why not? He went to KSU in freaking Manhatten Kansas. Why would he have not come here?

Because the ISU administration at the time didn't care about football success, and wouldn't have put nearly the resources at his disposal that KSU did.

There were some people posting earlier in this thread that Park had been practicing all week, so can anyone confirm if this is true?

Why in the world would Park be practicing if we knew he wasn't playing and we needed the backups to get every single rep possible to get prepared for this game?

Unless the coaching staff is just saying... "awww, screw this week, we're going to lose anyway, so lets still give Park reps to keep him ready for Kansas". But if our coaches are thinking this way.... that is beyond troublesome IMO.

Didn't Hayden Fry go to bat for Synder telling ISU they should hire him? At that point in time ISU wasn't very far removed from being successful.
I've heard Fry told Snyder that two D1 football schools could not exist in Iowa, so stay away from State. And Snyder was very happy at Iowa.

The story of him walking around K-State's campus, a complete unknown, getting a feel for the 'family' has been told many times. That's what convinced him to come to Manhattan.

What you wrote is completely opposite the commonly accepted narrative.

Could you maybe give us a name?

I'm guessing KCM is one of them with how often he's been banged up over the years. Not sure which LB though.

This game could sure get ugly. Only good thing is we might see some new faces out there and see what they can do.
