I think it will be in the 11-13 range for a Top 20 team at home against a team that's probably a middle to bottom big conference team.
They are not a Top 20 Team. AP has them at #31 and Coaches has them at #30

Opens at Mizzou -7.5
Lines moves to -9 by tip off.

ISU covers, only if Lard and Lewis play. If they don’t and we only play 7-8 guys, I’m predicting a loss in the 10-15 range.

Does Prohm have a scheduled time to meet with the media this week? Just curious as to when we might hear next on Lard and Lewis' status

Look at ISU's championship odds. They aren't that bad. Vegas doesn't see ISU as bad as pundits do, at least not yet.

Not that I have heard.
But Stanz did say something like he would be surprised if they DID play, but clarified that he hasn’t heard anything yet.

I look for us to struggle getting into a flow and get beat by 10-15. But hey..... in the Pit of Missouri anything can happen. Dilly! Dilly!

That would really, really suck.

That's a tough team to play with only 7 guys, given that they have 5 players at 6'10 or above who legitimately could see playing time, and two more at 6'7 that averaged double figures last year.

Would be tough to even finish the game with 7 players given the fouls that could happen against a team with that size.

Where's all the posters who said Mizzou would not fill the building for this game?

Mizzou has had serious attendance problems. I was one that underestimated their ability to recover that quickly.

They definitely had issues, but they have big basketball fans, just fair weather fans. They're not like Cyclone fans that will come to football games, despite the team's lack of success.
Although, I can't remember, what was the attendance in Hilton during the last couple years of McDermott? I do remember buying tickets, from Iowa St, the week of Big 12 games, in Hoiberg's second season. No way you can do that now.

has anyone seen a kenpom prediction?

i'm not sure his system is all that predictable early on in the year. I just went to his site, and he has ISU at #34 and Misery at #81, but these are two teams with almost completely different rosters, etc than last year.

really depends on if the three guys that did not play in the exhibition play. That is roughly 1/3 of the available players, the best post defender, the most experienced big man and the second best shooter. That will definitely make a difference

Its not it needs some games played before it gets to a dependable status
