Folks, VI Consensus is not a line. Betonline always releases lines first, they are at Mizzou -2.5 this afternoon.

Either way, if I was a betting man, I'd bet the farm on mizzou. Then again, the last time I felt this strongly, we were barely favored over drake royces year and lost. Hope that trend of wanting to bet the farm and being wrong stays true

i've always been in the camp that you don't mess with vegas when it comes to sports betting, but early season college basketball is known to be one of the few times when vegas info is not at its best and some pros think there's an advantage.

I too would bet the farm on Mizzou if they're only favored by a few pts.

Didn't Mizzou get housed by a rebuilding (reloading) Wisconsin team in an exhibition? Wouldn't crown them yet.

After the first game Vegas will have a self correction. I also think we didn't play that bad against Emporia. At least not as bad as everyone says we did.

I bet the farm on OU this year in football. I have the power to make ISU win.

You watched a different game than I did.

From Mizzou's exhibition with **ck Kansas, sounds like they're plenty good but susceptible to driving. Wiggy and NWB need to be full speed ahead and to shoot free throws.

"Although both teams struggled defensively and turned the ball over nine times each in the first half, Missouri was much better at converting the turnovers and additional opportunities afforded by offensive rebounds into points. The Tigers had 16 second-chance points compared to the Jayhawks’ four in the first half, giving them just enough of an edge for a 44-40 lead going into the break.

It was all Kansas in the second half, however. The Jayhawks made an offensive adjustment to start driving the ball into the paint more often, and the Tigers’ young big men simply couldn’t handle the aggressiveness. Forty-three percent of the Jayhawks’ points came from within the paint, and when they didn’t score there, they dished the ball out to wide-open shooters on the perimeter for easy 3-point looks."

Weird lines usually means Vegas knows something. I wouldn't touch this line because it seems odd.
