Were they recruited there? I had heard their dad got a job at Hagie Sprayers and that was the reason for the move but that was probably 5th hand info. It doesn't really matter...I'm just curious.
I am sure there is interest in the Portillo boys. I don't think Jon Marmolejo is going to be able to make 125 many more years. I suppose it depends if they want to sit a year. If that is the case, they need to transfer in December, so they would be available for 2nd semester next year.

He did not get a job there first. He worked as cook at the little country club outside of town. The club team in Clarion is having a big impact on current student athletes. I've been gone for a bit, but I have no idea who half the kids on the team are or where they came from.
Don't gloat like that, that's not fair. I used to live right up the 101 from that portillos when I was wokring out there a couple years ago, it was a deadly location for me hahaha

Yes, they came from Ohio.
IMO, the brothers need to go different directions. They are both 125 guys and many schools won't want to always have a pair and will give close to the same money for one or both.
