Unless there's been a change, the Cactus Bowl and Fiesta Bowl are run by the same people, so I'm guessing they wouldn't want them to fall too close together on the calendar.

Already gave a salute to the seniors @ the OSU game. And, my decision to stay home has nothing to do with “spite”. Orlando would’ve fit with my schedule, Memphis doesn’t.

You're right. Check the rankings. This is a top 20 team. They have beaten P5 teams in the last 2-3 years. Higher quality opponent than a good portion of the Power 5.
I did and I would go back. It all depended on where you stayed, but we loved New York. My 65 year old dad who has spent most of his life on a farm said if he was 40 years younger he'd move to NYC.
People are smarter than you think. Everyone knows Memphis is a good team. If we win, it will be recognized as a good win. If we lose, it will be disappointing but not some huge ******* embarrassment.

Had a great time in Memphis last time. Going again with several people, many who aren’t season ticket holders. Been to Phoenix bowl games, they were OK. Froze my butt off at the second one that night.
