I went to Memphis, Shreveport, and Phoenix. I would take Memphis every day of the week over shreveport. Close drive, cheap hotels, good entertainment, locals appreciate your support, etc. The only thing that sucked last time was the actual game and the weather on that day.

Can't believe that it is. I know they sent out a notice a while ago to pre-register for it with an email address, and I have not heard anything since, so maybe they are going to fill pre-registered people first and then open it up depending on how many sign up??? Really don't know, but suspect they are scrambling to figure it out.

Just booked a condo right near Beale St. on airbnb. This is going to be great! Go Clones! Might have to buy some drinks for some Cfers if I run into them.

I see that they have tents for $50/night 1.4 miles from Beale...

I did. They aren't....active. But they have noticed our griping about playing them and are indignant enough about that. They are also very cognizant of the fact we are better than our record, and complimentary of how ISU traveled last time we were in Memphis.

I thought it was interesting they had a post that complained about having to play UCF on their home field in the AAC championship, but apparently we think we're Oklahoma or something for sharing the sentiment.

Also another post says their head coach is on a plane to Fayetteville, Arkansas at the moment.

The stadium holds 60,000. We'll have at least 20k. Should be a fun atmosphere.

Had a lot of fun in Memphis last time, despite having pneumonia and it raining. . Just sucks we are playing Memphis in their own place. Seems like a lack of effort by the committee. I’m sure Memphis players would love going someplace else.
Game will be great snd its a good location for lots of fans to go.

Beale street. There’s enough Iowa State fans that went/will go this year, any bar will be an Iowa State bar
