I'm excited to see Talley back in action. I really think a healthy Talley (and Brase) could be the difference between the 0-2 start and a 2-0 start. Talley brings long athleticism and Prohm has stated recently he could be a difference maker on defense. We need him badly.

How ready will he be, though? He didn’t just lose the development time, he hasn’t been on his feet much.

Way up there
I'm cautious about Talley, I think had he not been hurt, he'd be coming in to his own right about now but he was very inconsistent in the small sample we saw. I like what he can bring but I'm not sure he's ready to jump right in to big 12 play after being laid up for several weeks. That said, I think Okie St is a team he can match up well against and honestly, anything he can bring will be big, even if its just a few minutes of good defense.

Maybe Talley will surprise me with his improvement but he wasn’t very good before the injury.

Talley has been fine considering the step up in competition after a lot of time away from playing.
I doubt we see him improve offensively, but Prohm (and I) believes his length and athleticism will help defensively especially on the opposing bigs outside shooting. Him and Brase give Prohm the ability to lengthen the post depth overall. Zoran getting healthy is important.

Go State!!!
