Great play by everyone. With competent refs it’s a 15+ point lead and Carter is riding the bench in foul trouble.

Carter has a paw on your arm, leg, head, ball and whatever else about ten times per possession. His reputation gets him some leniency, but sometimes that goes way overboard.
I saw Steve Prohm out there, but where did he find all these new players in the middle of the season?
I don't see a downside to WVU's system of 80 fouls a game and getting called for 15-20 while your opponent somehow gets more fouls. I think it requires a coach that can fully crush the soul of the officials without getting tossed, no idea how Huggy does it every time.
ISU committed more fouls though. Football tackles and greco roman wrestling moves now allowed.
As long as he can still find an open DJ and Young/Lard make some of their own offense off of rebounding.
You might think, like I often do, that a good first half is just a setup for a bad second half. But, not tonight. This fist half was no mirage. Doesn't mean WVU doesn't put up 60 in the second half, but here are the stats the tell me the Cyclones are dialed in tonight:

Let's see if we can adjust first before we annoint anyone. I assume Huggy is going to set up their press such that Carter takes the ball every time. That will make things a lot more interesting.
