Just stopped by the admit I was being a complete douche on this thread's evil twin earlier this week.

Unbelievable, I havent gotten to watch the dvr of the game yet but all I can say is "Unreal". I didnt think we would win another game all season, let alone a complete beatdown against West Virginia who I thought we matched up terribly with.

So anybody that wants to rip me have at it, I deserve it.

WHERE THE PROHM HATERS AT???

WHERE THE "DONOVAN IS NOT A BIG 12 STARTER" PEOPLE AT???

WHERE THE "LARD DOESN'T CARE" PEOPLE AT???

WHERE THE "SOLO AIN'T THAT GOOD" PEOPLE AT???

GTFO!!!

Ah man.....did you really have to go there? It was fun to just enjoy this win and this board tonight. Hard to believe the team tonight and the one Saturday was the same group of players.
(Maybe posters need to send all these negative quotes on and slam the team for sucking on the road...and the team goes out and RESPONDS to prove all wrong. Maybe Prohm can call them "soft" again as a road team. Haha All I know is, I want to see this type of team performance AGAIN!)

Great win for the program, CSP and us fans. I can fully admit that I jumped the gun in the other thread. Greatest fear for me is going back to the McDermott era.

Prohm once again proved me wrong. Still think this team plays best not in the half court and WVU was simply too stubborn to adjust. I think this bodes well for us vs. Oklahoma. Still think we could struggle against Baylor but I've seen enough from this win and Texas Tech to feel encouraged for the next few weeks regardless. Have a good night guys, I'm going to go watch the game again on DVR.

Thoughts on the game:

1. Wigginton a true freshman looked like the better player tonight vs. All Big 12 Carter.

2. Talley is getting better and better as he gains more confidence. Appreciate his game a little more every outing. Anyone know if the injury is still bugging him? Really think he could break out for the duration of the year into his senior season.

3. DJ is a stud.

4. Young and Lard looked like grown men down there tonight. I think the soft comments fell squarely on their shoulders.

5. How much length will we have defensively next year? Think a lineup of Babb, Shayok, THT, Talley, Lard. Length for days that'll take a toll on teams.

Coach Prohm has been saying that since day one. It's just a matter of getting the guys to put the plan into action (and WV does give you more opportunities once you break them down (easier said than done)).

I've said it before, but it bares repeating, when you make shots the whole basketball team is a lot better. Especially when you are making outside shots. It make everyone have to adjust their defense, bigger spacing, more room for bigs to make easy shots, etc.

Sounds like the team was also much more focused. 10 of 14 FTs is as telling as anything about how this team was tuned in tonight.
