I am not telling anyone to take less money, just pointing out that the competition is for too many players not about winning the most championships but rather seeing who can make the most money - many times more than a reasonable person can never spend in their lifetime. They can do what they want but they have certainly lost what most of the players profess to be the reason they were driven to play the game.

That profession is just a PR statement, just like "we want to win this for our fans."

Great to see Chatwood throw 9ks over 5 innings of work along with allowing just 1 hit and walking 2. Dude has to be one of, if not the best, #5 pitchers in a starting rotation this season.
