Robins, Iowa
Saw the local sports guy talking to Zach Bohannon about how Iowa hung tough with MI. Probably the 50th time someone has brought this up! Guess all those games that the Hawks were down 20 in the first half against unranked teams no longer matter.

One thing no one seems to remember is that MI survived in the first round with a very long last second shot.

If Iowa would have beaten MI, they'd at least be able to chalk it up to potential and give kudos for finishing off a good opponent. Instead, they just did what Franball does and Hokdom plays it out like something important, like all of the hoopla from proving they were the 70th best team in the country a few years ago in the NIT.

ISU actually beat good teams, even badly, and I still can't say they were a good team, because they were simply not good for most of the season.

Good game so far as Wagner is getting a little more help. TBS is just praying the game stays close.

The way these teams play small-ball is entertaining. Like Hoiball but with tenacious defense and rebounding. Also, Beilein getting it to work with two poor 3P shooting guards (under 30% in conference play), including the pg, is typical Beilein. Of course, it helps when your frontcourt is a big guard and a 6’11”’guy that can play like one.

Nova was already the best team left standing on the tourney and they had their best game last night. Very impressive. Watching them destroy us was like watching a Mike Tyson fight when he was at his ferocious best. I feel bad for our kids knowing that they feel bad but this loss doesn't take any shine off of the season. We had an amazing season.

Graham will get to see both his jersey, a Final Four banner and the ncaa record 14th straight Big 12 title banner hung in the rafters of AFH forever and know that he led this team beyond their abilities. One of the best leaders we have ever had at KU.

And the players that will return next season will be HUNGRY. They got to see what it took to get to the Final Four. They got to see what a championship level team plays like and I think it will be a key part of next year's run to the national championship.

Rock Chalk!
Does everyone get their jersey hung in the rafters at KU? Sure seems like it.

Beilein is such a good coach, he's always able to adjust his offensive system to the talent he has. He never forces his guys into roles where they don't fit. And development wise, I don't think there's a better coach in the country. He takes good, not great recruits, and cranks out NBA players.
