Oh, I completely agree. The "everyone does it" defense is really, "everyone that wants to be in the one-and-done market" knows what has to be done. And KU has clearly sold any integrity it had (very little since Larry Brown and Roy) to jump into that cesspool.

I seriously doubt that. Cash flowed out of Poly Pavilion like sh#t through a goose. About 10 years ago, someone did some research on the "bag men" UCLA used. College basketball has not be clean since before Adulf Rupp came to Kentucky.
No one attempted an "everyone does it" defense. I stated that everyone has relationships with and recruits from AAU programs and everyone has a contract with a shoe company in response to surly's absurd claim that KU created an environment for this to happen becayse they get AAU kids and have a shoe contract. Thats it.

Ku seems to be saying that it doesn't matter Adidas has caused us incredible problems and besmirched our good name, and even though we are the victim of their dastardness, at Ku it's all about the money and continuing this fine relationship. The classic case of tin ear syndrome or is it just f.... you, we are Jayhawk basketball!

And I have been at MY job for over 12 years and have come to know many of my coworkers well. In some cases, kids who were toddlers when we first met are now finishing high school or off to college.
That isn't the same as being good friends.
I didn't bother spending the afternoon looking for friendship quotes, although they do exists because I remember reading them - there are a ton of articles on the subject of Ku, Adidas and buying players.

I trust you were as subjective when reading quotes from recruits and staffers prior to Pitino's firing.
