Mom always said "Always wear good underwear and socks because if you would ever need to go to the hospital, I don't want them to go, "who dressed him?"

I've been wearing the same 10-15 pairs of boxers for the last 10-15 years! Waste bands are getting way out of wack with weight fluctuation, but i hate any new boxers that I buy. They all seem to feel weird or don't keep in the goods properly.

Helpful tip: If you pull them down before eliminating waste it shouldn't get caught in the band.

Typically when the elasticity is gone and I start running out between washes

Even when they lose their elasticity, I keep them in the drawer as backups

Generally elasticity is a problem I encounter before the other two so as soon as they start bothering me by not staying up properly they get **** canned. The Mrs. buys me new ones regularly when she finds a deal so it isn't like I am ever in danger of running out.

Who the hell wears white whiteys anymore? Boxers, gotta let them boys breath.

Also, if you have skid marks as adult, (barring an emergency from trusting a fart), wipe your ass you freaking animal.

This is a good discussion, but I think the one a few years ago about wet farts was by far the best ever

Not exactly sure.
I did throw away a fairly new pair of underwear once. Teenage son said he somehow got a pair of mine in his stack (wear fairly similar ones). Said he could tell because they kept falling down. I told him to just chuck them, I can't wear underwear anybody else has worn.

For me it's either the waist band or the leg openings. Some of those leg openings just stretch worse than the waistband and end up just too big for human male thighs. When it looks like a stork wearing a hoop skirt - out they go.

I guess that falls into 'Other'

I tried boxers but never felt... hmmm 'safe' in them. That's about as far as I'll go there. But briefs are really tough to find suitable ones.

My last batch are actually Amazon brand. Had very high buyer ratings and damn if they aren't just exactly perfect.
