Am I the only one enjoying look-aid on this hot spring day? I do believe I’ll have some more.

This is going to be an awesome recruiting class.

Talk about needing a QB, he had to slow down or stop on almost every catch in the beginning of the highlights.

I love watching all these highlights to see the other kids around the recruit, just to see if there is someone that looks as good or better then the recruit. QB was definitely one of those guys that doesn't make the guys around him look better than they are.

Outstanding raw talent. I like his thirst for contact and his downfield blocking is Lazard-esque.

He played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in December. I can't find stats or highlights, only the full-game version on YouTube. Anyway, He caught what ended up being the game winning TD for team American. The play starts at 2:33:20.

Saw Leonard Glass comment on a twitter post - Scates was at a 7on7 today. No reason to get stirred up as Scates signed, I just found it odd he was wearing an Alabama shirt while catching passes. Anyone else notice this?

So athletes can't wear apparel from other teams that they probably had before signing with a college team?

You're reading into this wayyy to much. Calm down there bruiser.

Bruiser? Really? I'm actually very calm, as I watched the video where he thanked ISU for not giving up on him and was the only program offering help and sticking with him. So no bro, you calm down.

A player who goes on several OVs will probably get some swag at each one whether it is given (if allowed) or picked up at the book store. In addition I would imagine going to Junior day and camping at a school would be opportunities to get school swag - an Alabama shirt might come with camp registration. Just because a kid is about to start playing for a team doesn't mean he won't on occasion wear some of the clothes he got before. When he is in the program and they start throwing all sorts of Cyclone gear at him his need to wear other school swag will likely be diminished.

But i'm not the one worrying about a student athlete wearing an Alabama shirt and running to a forum and posting about it.....

Nancy and sally are offensive and buster just didn't seem appropriate. I'll take any suggestions you might have for next time.

So yes, please calm down.

So...if he’s supposed to be in class, what’s he doing in a 7 on 7? Or was this in Ames?

He'll calm down if you quit being condescending.
