That was part of my problem with the highlight video. Too many huge holes with nobody near him. I wanted to see a bit more vids of him in traffic making cuts, jukes, running over people, etc. There was a bit of that in there, but I wanted to see more.
He has a really long stride and good top end speed. Decent acceleration. Reminds me of a Mike Warren type with more strength. He doesn't need to cut much because of good blocking but also because he makes the right read through the hole. He's good, he looks like he is already a Power 5 level back .

According to Halsted, he's 6' 2" 205 (247 says 6'). If thats true, thats elite size for a high school running back. Hopefully he has the work ethic and toughness of DM, then this kid could have a very bright future!

Great feet, fluid stride and killer blocker. I see why he was prioritized over Brock.

That is an impressive highlight video. He has it all. His o-line makes it easy on him too. Kid barely has to cut.

I kind of think he was making things easy on his O-line, by the time the line had even made contact with the defense Breece had already blown by them all...

Congratulations and welcome aboard. This is really sweet for a lot of reasons, especially because of the added talent he'll bring to ISU. There's an added bonus here because I know there are HOK fans in Wichita who will be making all kinds of excuses why this guy chose us over SUI and other Big 10 schools. Nice.

I’m curious how his skill will translate. In his highlights I saw multiple times when he just ran straight ahead and nothing was in his way. I’m not sure if he just had inferior competition or what. I liked the tape, I just wish I saw more cutting. Does anyone know what the staff likes most about him?

I'm sure there are a lot of high schoolers that don't want to tackle a 6'1 210 lb RB that is fast, haha.

He has been a priority for ISU since they gave him his first offer. He has since picked up offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Louisville, Kansas State and about 10 other programs most of which are P5. That's good enough for me.

Rule #1: Never doubt this staff's eye for RB talent.

I didn’t doubt it. Did you read what I said? I asked if anyone knew what the staff likes about him. Obviously they like something, but his tape was a lot of running and not much cutting etc.
