The reschedule deal with Nebraska was just a replay of tonights game that never happened. They always replay games the next few days after games. Someone thought they were smart they were not and reported it.

I have been looking to see if there's a way to schedule Nebraska. Their bye is October 27th and we are October 20th. Only 4 Big 12 teams play October 20th. It's too bad Texas Tech is one of them because if they weren't, we potentially could have moved ISU-Tech to the 20th and played Nebraska on the 27th.

Chiefs are out of town that weekend and they have a bye the week before. Field would be fine.

Also maybe that's an FCS playoff date so the scheduled team could have the same issue.

Same thing happened to Florida State last year. They didn’t announce the game until FSU was eliminated from the ACC championship game

Thing is I think we will be hard pressed to find an FCS school to sacrifice their bye week to have off to come to Ames and get beat up right before another important conference game the following week.

Also, FCS is limited to an 11 game season, so that makes it very difficult.
