Another game on now that would be... unexpected. I won't name it so as to avoid jinxing or reverse jinxing or anything.
Credit to those that called Maryland over Texas. Like I said, I wasn't buying into the Texas hype as much as thinking Maryland just had too much to overcome, including not being a very good team. Hopefully Texas plays that poorly against us.

Not a good start for a lot of "good" teams. Penn State, Mich St, FSU, Miami, Texas, and Michigan all looked pretty underwhelming.
Good point. I was SOOOOO hoping Penn State would go down. That would have made my weekend. Va Tech, or at least their defense, looked really good against FSU last night.
The tailgate next to us had the game on and there had to have been 25 people standing there for OT.
#19 FSU looked like they hadn't gotten out of spring practice. I'm not sure if they're that bad or #20 V'Tech that good. But, my gosh, that was an eye-opener. Of course, #23 Texas was as well. Some talking heads had them winning the B12.
Almost got this right. I didn't even see the Ole Miss TTU matchup, or I would have also had Ole Miss winning too. TTU is going to show Kansas-level mediocrity this year and poor ole Kliff, cute as he is, is going to be an OC next year.
Edit: holy Hell, that's right. KU lost outright. Ok, I didn't "almost get this right," I was far from it. Not good, B12, not good.
