Could be, if my kid was even a couple years of math ahead, I wouldn’t be so upset. It’s a good thing in my book.
Agreed. I'd have her teach me that stuff.

He is 12. He should be in 7th. He is in eighth. He is in Trig. He completed two years of math in 6th grade(odd how he did it but he did he completed 8th grade math and Algebra in 6th grade). Took Geometry in 7th grade. Taking Pre-calc/trig in 8th.O.......k......??? Let the crazy flow I guess. You mentioned he was HS and had skipped over four math classes (guessing he has to be smart to leapfrog four years of math) so that means College level if he’s four years ahead I would think.

Nope. He is in 8th grade. He goes to the high school for math. As a full-time freshman he will start AP Calc. After that we are uncertain what will happen.Congrats looks like he’s doing well. Good for him.
Does your school consider 8th as HS? I know different schools consider grades differently but never seen 8th as HS.
Then it's time to prove that a preschool dropout can still get ahead in this crazy world.
It also explains why we talk so much about poop, poop stories, and poop math.
Tell me more about this “poop math” you mention.
1+1= 2 poops
1+2= 3 poops
1+3= 1000 poops
The math seems to add up.
